About
We designed a mattress that brings in pocket coils with our organic latex foam. It’s still handcrafted in our Niles, IL factory and just as high in quality as our original mattress, but the springs give an added bounce for a livelier feel.
The coils are attached with steel rings and never glued, which not only means that it maintains all of the same organic certifications, but it also makes it sturdier and more solid on all sides compared to other hybrid mattresses.

Description
Without the pillow top, our spring mattress is 12” thick.
We recommend a platform base or slatted foundation with spacing that is 3” apart or less. If you need to use a box spring, we strongly suggest using a bunky board or plywood board for extra support. Our mattresses are also very flexible and will work great on adjustable bed frames.
Not sure what to choose? Drop us a line and we can talk it out. And remember you can always add on a soft topper for extra squish without sacrificing stability.

Overview
How do I know which mattress is right for me?
That depends on a few things, like your personal preference and how you generally sleep. We have some information on the Mattress product page but if you need help deciding, feel free to call us at 312.487.2865 or send us an email! Our team will be excited to help you pick the best mattress for your needs
Do your mattresses pass the federal fire testing?
Yes! We don’t use any fire retardant chemicals or barriers, but the layer of wool in the mattress cover acts as a natural fire barrier. This allows our mattresses to pass all of the required federal fire tests.
Are your mattresses organic?
Yes, our mattresses are certified organic under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) by Oregon Tilth. Our certification is available on the Pure Green Natural Latex Mattress product page. It can also be verified on the GOTS Website
Setting Up the Mattress
How is the hybrid mattress delivered?
Our hybrid mattresses are delivered via freight without compression. In-home delivery, one flight of stairs, setup, and packaging removal are included at no extra charge (hybrid models only).
For additional services—such as multiple flights of stairs or special requirements—please contact us before ordering to discuss options.
What type of foundation or frame do you recommend using?
We recommend a platform base or slatted foundation with spacing that is 3” apart or less. If you need to use a box spring, we strongly suggest using a bunky board or plywood board for extra support. Our mattresses are also very flexible and will work great on adjustable bed frames.
Do I need to air out the mattress?
No, you do not need to air out your new mattress. The odor of the mattress may be stronger when first opened but should dissipate to some extent with time. The reduction in odor will be most noticeable in the week after opening the package. While you can air out the mattress during this time, we urge customers to do so cautiously.
Many methods people use to air out our products actually increase the odor rather than reduce it. Placing the foam in heat or sunlight can cause the odor to drastically increase for an extended period of time and may damage the foam. If you choose to air out the mattress, we recommend doing so in a cool dark room with good ventilation.
Mattress Care
Can the mattress be flipped or rotated?
Yes, the hybrid mattress is constructed in such a way that it can be flipped or rotated.
